Dr. Jingyuan Fu is a professor of systems medicine at the University Medical Centre Groningen in the Netherlands. Her research aims to acquire a greater knowledge of how the human genome and the gut microbiome interact with each other and affect human health, so that we can create better methods for disease prediction, prevention, and treatment. She has received several prestigious grants and awards from the Netherlands and the European Research Council, including ERC-CoG, NWO-VENI, VIDI, VICI, and the 2023 Ammodo Science Award. She has also been recognized as a “Highly Cited Researcher” by Web of Science since 2020.
