My research is focused on the metabolic effects and regulatory mechanisms of adipose tissues and livers under various stresses, including temperature changes, over-nutrition and aging. My research has revealed functions of multiple molecular players stress responses and dynamic control of energy metabolism with the supporting funding from the National Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholars and Excellent Young Scholars of China. My team has published over 60 papers in high-profile scientific journals such as Cell, Cell Metabolism, PNAS, Advanced Science, Cell Reports, Hepatology, Journal of Hepatology, Cell Research, Metabolism-clinical and experimental, Aging Cell and Diabetes etc, which have been previewed and highlighted by Cell, Nature, Nat Rev Endocrinol etc.
