Dr. Purvi Chawla is an experienced diabetologist with over 24 years in drug development and clinical medicine together. She is a Consultant Diabetologist and Director of Clinical Research at Lina Diabetes Care, Diabetes & Beyond and Mumbai Diabetes Research Centre for more than 10 years now and a Consultant Diabetologist at Bhartiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital, BSES Global Hospital and VLSR, The Clinic. She is a fellow of Diabetes India and a Co and Sub-Investigator for several Global & National Clinical Trials for NCEs (Oral/ Injectable drugs) and trainer for the National Diabetes Educators’ Programme (NDEP). She leads the RSSDI Guidelines Group for Patient Education and member of the RSSDI Social Media Task Force for Patient Education. She is the recipient of several awards for Patient Education & Awareness, Tech Innovation and also for Community Service from prestigious associations.
