    Research Interests
    • Her research focuses on pancreatic β-cell protection and prevention/treatment of chronic diabetic complications. As first or corresponding author, she has published in high-impact journals including BMJ, Lancet, Diabetes Care, Metabolism, Thyroid, and JCEM. Her awards include the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class), Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award (First Class), Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (First Class), and the China Insulin Secretion Research Achievement Award.
