Dr. Jiang was promoted to full professor with tenure and Boya distinguished professor at Peking University in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Dr. Jiang’s research mainly focuses on the pathogenesis and translational research of metabolic diseases, including focusing on the role of gut microbial metabolic network in metabolic disorders. Dr. Jiang has published 22 SCI papers in Nature (2022), Nature Medicine (2017, 2018, 2019), Cell Metabolism (2019, 2021a, 2021b), the Journal of Clinical Investigation (2021), Diabetes (2016) and others as the corresponding author, in which 3 papers are highly cited (Top 1%, Web of Science). He has published 4 reviews in Nature Reviews Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Protein & Cell, and Small Methods, and hold 6 patents. He received the Distinguished Young Scholar of the National Natural Science Foundation, the 16th China Youth Science and Technology Award, the 6th CADA Young Investigator Award, the 8th Shulan Medical Youth Award and the 23rd Mao Yisheng Beijing Youth Science and Technology Award.
