She was awarded the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress award in 2011, the first prize for Progress in Science and Technology from Guangdong Government in 2008, and the first prize for Progress in Science and Technology from the Ministry of Education in 2007. Professor Li was in charge of over 30 research plans such as National Key R&D Program of China, National Natural Science Fund, PhD Station Fund of the Ministry of Education, Key Project of the Guangdong Natural Science Fund, etc
