Short Biography:
Dr. Edith Chow graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Psychology; then, she obtained her MBChB from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017. She received her specialist training at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong and obtained her specialist qualification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism in 2024. She has a broad clinical background in managing endocrine diseases and cardiometabolic diseases, including young-onset diabetes and hypertension. She now works as a clinical lecturer at the Department of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also the Deputy Medical Director of the Phase 1 Clinical Trial Centre, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, for non-oncological studies. She has published in peer-reviewed journals including Diabetes Care, Cardiovascular Diabetology, and Diabetologia. Her research interests include diabetes epidemiology, young-onset hypertension and primary aldosteronism.
